Wishful thinking...I don't think we're getting any more than the GT.

MC confirmed the programming is different along with SVTFreak when he saw the different programming. They wouldn't just put a random number in for fun Husker. Three different people I've spoken to confirmed that is different PCM programming.

It doesn't surprise me that people are skeptical. No one has believed a single thing spelled out in front of us.

It would be really interesting to learn this... it's possible you posted it elsewhere and I just didn't see it. Any info you can provide that will help, hold us over, so to speak, would be appreciated!

I ordered my LE (Kona) on 5/20, she was scheduled to be built on 9/22, she was completed on 10/10, and we've been waiting ever since last week for delivery; her window sticker showed up on 10/16.
Although, for some reason, she's not been "scheduled" or put onto the train/truck yet.

So I'm salivating for any little piece of LE info. I can get! I've been hoping one will appear at a local dealer so I can at least see one in person...but it doesn't seem that there are any in the area, so far anyway.
(I did get a look at a 401A trim pkg on the GT last week, took it for a spin and it just made me want mine that much more).

Can't wait!!!!

Mine is still on for the 15th the other guy who is getting an LE and has a Vin had his pushed back to the 18th. The other 6 are unscheduled.

I think it's awesome the LE will be more than just cosmetic changes. Although perhaps some of you will have a harder time mod'ing it now that it's a bit more unique than originally thought. It may actually be worth something some day if left stock.

VERY curious

In case you are curious, I have tracked the first 515 cars. 88 are going to Texas, 37 to Michigan, 35 to California, 33 to Florida, and 15 to NY, PA and VA.

Mine's #322 ... trying to be patient, but this wait is brutal!

Last I heard she was done with production on 10/10, but still waiting to be shipped via convoy... Which is kind of funny because I'm seeing stickers which say "rail" and the dealership keeps saying she's coming by train, so why would mine say "convoy"?

I also noticed that the mustang S/N sequence are grouped by states. (Ex. Florida S/N 289-310).

I was thinking the same ... there's another Kona Blue ordered by someone in VA who is in the low 300's and I'm in Maryland with #322.

It certainly seems like, at the least special orders, are grouped by demographic. Although I presume that if that's the case, the non-special orders or stock orders will be designated by dealership demographic.

Jim, I'm in Maryland too - what part are you in, or what dealership did you order from...and when did you order yours?

I ordered mine on 5/20 (well, I made my deposit on the 50th's birthday 4/17, but couldn't order till the banks opened) from Hagerstown.

Any word on when yours if being produced/delivered?

No sorry I should have clarified that. I couldn't deal with it depreciating anymore so I sold it to a Dodge dealer...took a small loss but it's a clean slate now.

I'm with you - we finally sold the Explorer (to our daughter), and are paying down/off our 2011 Lariat... so we can afford the pay'ts on the 2015 LE.

Now my '97 Tbird Limited and our old '96 F-150 Eddie Bauer are the daily drivers (the Lariat is our weekend toy - at least until the pony gallops home)!

There's only so much room in the corral (ahem garage)!

The door handle broke yesterday and the exhaust just rusted through.

Fixed the door handle and replaced the front speakers. Next I need to fix the tailgate and exhaust. He wasn't made to be a DD at his age and condition but I try to fix what breaks and take it in stride. I bought it just for any days we have bad snow. Other than that the Mustang will be driven. The DC streets are not kind to that old suspension.

I would like that too. The only parts I see on ford parts.com that is leftover needed to build one complete 5.0 is there are two 5.0 intake manifolds listed. I have a suspicion what I think through other research but I won't say it yet.

Per info. I found on my LE with the VIN, it doesn't have all that, but it does have:

Aluminum block & heads, cast aluminum pistons, forged steel connecting rods, distributor-less with coil-on-plug,
Bore x stroke 3.63 x 3.65" / 92.2 x 92.7 mm,
Compression: 11.0:1

Oh yeah, she's gonna be a sweet ride!!! Can't wait :clap2:
