Texas cars will be shipped by rail

Nearly all cars ship by rail. The rail/convoy designation is only how it leaves the plant. Most convoy departures are traveling to a different rail yard for loading

In light of some minor glitches in production ( this is normal and to be expected on an entirely new platform and line) and seat belt recalls…. they have to do some tweaking and ironing out.
I really don't mind waiting a few months now for LE, so I am happy us Canucks are last now to be built and shipped !!

Congratzz!

Although I really wish they would start shipping them. It's been three weeks tomorrow and no news of shipping.

Better that they don't ship them than they get to a rail yard and sit there waiting for recall parts.

Just say'n.

Ok, looking for feedback as you are all awaiting yours too. My LE has been on rail for over a week, expected at dealership within next week. I'm getting cold feet because I have to trade my '12 GT/CS that I've put some aftermarket into it and it looks, sounds and performs awesome. I'm not in a position to have two Mustang payments. Plus, I love my glass-roof. I don't think the LE will be better performance than my current car. I'm basically paying $20K to have a special dash badge and some nice exterior touches. Previous anniversary Mustangs are cool, but not overly special.

Is this car going to be special enough? I will be taking it to car shows as I'm cutting back on competitive golf for more car events (I'm having more fun). The average Joe on the street doesn't know the LE from another and most people think I'm crazy to get rid of my current one when I tell them my new one is on its way. If I wait 1 or 2 years, I can probably buy a GT 350 and keep my current one too. If I buy LE, I'm locked for 72 months likely.

If I do back out, sorry to those of you still looking. The dealer has a waiting list depending on whether I actually take it or not. I paid a refundable deposit.

Thoughts??

Not worth $20K premium to me. If you're not planning on putting it in a museum and leaving it there I wouldn't expect the value to be that great in 50 years.

I'd wait for the GT350 if that's in your price range, esp. if you can keep your current '12 GT/CS while doing so.

I guess I should have stated much of my decision might be seeing it in person. Sorry for rant, just wondering if anyone else is having that let-go problem.
