congratulation. I not even vin?

Be patient car.a5. Actually very few of the total of 1964 have vins assigned. Those of us with vins and cars probably ordered ours very very early (I ordered the day after banks opened).

I sent him a PM. I believe you're correct. Those of us that jumped on an LE super early have a Vin/Production. I was 5/13 I believe he ordered 5/25 which can make a difference.

I originally talked to dealer the day they got their allotment. I think April 20th ish. But I went and sat down with them and ordered on 5/21.

On another note, I did find out that mine was released to the shipping yard on 10/2. It could go to in transit any day now plzkthnx!

It starts with the paint. The 50th anniversary Mustang is available only in two heritage colors, Wimbledon White or Kona Blue. “Orders right now are about 70 percent Wimbledon White and 30 percent Kona Blue,” said Owens. Wimbledon White was one of the original Mustang colors, a little closer to a cream color than the refrigerator-white color (called Oxford White) used on normal Mustangs.

That's about what I see so far. I'm working on a spreadsheet (for my curiosity) that will count white and blue, auto and manual, and combinations.

47% so far are white autos. Next is white manual. Next is blue manual with blue auto being least common. That's only about 270 cars that are built/scheduled so far, or about 1/8th of the total so trends should be developing now.

Thank MC. He started it. I just added to it with information that in curious about (also tracking build dates and state that they headed to (or country).

I'll post stats here occasionally, or when people ask, but wasn't gonna put final numbers until all 1964 are produced.

Like I said 5/26 was not early. I ordered 5/13 and there were three people ahead of me at my dealer. They did a small first batch so the rest will come soon.

Does anyone know when the next batch of LE's will be produced. I believe it was stated that about 270 cars have been built but I also read where almost 500 have been assigned. I still have no VIN or any information on mine. I heard rumors over the summer that FORD may spread these out over the entire year and I also heard that they may do them all fairly early of production. I am a stock order Priority 21, do you think if I changed to a retail order I would get it faster?

It appears they are building 15-30 a week right now. I haven't ran through all vins so if they skipped to past 400 or so, I didn't see them yet. (It's time consuming so it's slow process for me).

Once you have a vin, seeing progress will be a little easier. Only option until then is patience. I know it's hard, but it's only option.

Deposit placed on Dec. 2013

Ordered on May 20th 2014 (Tried to order a week earlier but the "Order Dude" was on vacation)

Contacted Ford for confirmation on May 22nd 2014:

I checked on your order and it shows your vehicle status as “In order processing”. This means that your order has been received, successfully edited, and is awaiting scheduling action. Once your vehicle receives a schedule to build day, it should then get a VIN and ETA. Everything looks in order and it should schedule within a couple of weeks depending on your dealer’s allocation. You can continue to check with me weekly for updates.
As of Oct 14 2014 STILL-->“In order processing”

Hope this makes you feel better-->;)
