I hear ya Brent, but when you finally get into your ride in the very near future you won't look back. I've been window shopping all summer. I take the Chally out for a spin, then drive a 14GT and it all falls back into perspective.
Maybe I should go drive a 14 GT...the last GT I've been in was my 2008.

I think that the gt350 may come with an auto because, I bet Ford is looking at the competition. The 15 c7, z06, m3/4 all come in either 8 speed autos or DCT. I could be wrong though.

Still missing navigation, the stereo, seats etc. I decided December 6th that my next mustang would be loaded to the gills. I want everything and a box of chocolates. If I change my mind or the gt350 is loaded and has a huge power bump (aka forced induction) I'll sell the LE and get one. If not? Well I will be supercharging my LE and having the exact car I want for a lot less than a 14 Shelby still.

Update. No real update. Still showing scheduled to date 9/17 in vehicle visibility. No update showing in production or anything yet. Still no window sticker found.

Yes defiinately, I was about to get a 14 last summer, I loved the car. Then Pericek thwarted it by saying this one is better. Then the anniversary car showed up. It was lust at first sight. I'll get a performance one later on in life after I leave Arkansas and the worst roads in the nation.

Have you driven a 392 Challenger? Thoughts compared to the 5.0? I'm wondering if I'm going to miss the low end grunt of my 5.7. I won't miss the engine giving out at 5500rpm though.

I haven't driven the SRT, just the RT Classic in the garage. I loved the MOPAR on the freeway drives, but in town, not so much. I judge the car by the way it handles the different roads around where I live. The Chally as it is affectionately called, is like a sporty caddy, but in close quarters, it is like trying to take a whaler up a small creek. Of course you know all this. The first time I drove the 14, it was like wow, we've come a long way. It still had the noticeable hop going on and off freeway ramps on the tight turns when hitting bumps. Anything over 80 was scary as hell. It did ride much better than the 09/10s and had instant power for passing. The main reason I'm not getting excited about the small power bump, it had plenty before for street driving. I like my low insurance rates so most of my driving is below 90, but I did run it to 125 on a very clear interstate. It got there quicker than the challenger and felt great. It felt sportier than the Chally also. I was about a pen and checkbook away from buying it, but my gut said wait. Happy I did.

BTW, LE's started scheduling VINs today again, and I have it from a very reliable source, we'll see lots of LE builds in the next three weeks, starting Monday.

Any idea if these are just going to be the LEs that are scheduled already or if they are going to be ones that are not scheduled yet?

The 440 of 500 that were supposed to start at the beginning of the month, 60 are done

can anyone tell me what the 9th digit of the Vin # signifies. Looking at the vin#'s for the LE's it varies from car to car (0-9)
