I heard from Rachel this morning and she told me the majority of the LEs are undergoing a bit of extra inspections and have waited longer to ship. There's no reason for concern; it's just the process the orders are undergoing. They are seeing movement on them across the board now.

That's exactly what Rachel told me as well, when I checked in with her on Monday. And so we wait...

She's right. They are going through a very thorough qc and preparation service that others aren't getting. Ford sees these as high profile cars going to enthusiasts and intends for them to be as close to perfect as possible.

I know about the the second QC process, but when a car has not been shipped 4+ weeks after its build date there is a problem. I am leaning towards MC's comment about problems with the shippers.

Either way its making me crazy :frusty:

I've been all upset lately I was looking at 2015 Corvettes yesterday. Thankfully good friends on here and a angry wife talked me out of it...hell of a deal though..it's like my wife said "you're a Mustang guy you're unhappy in anything else"

I've been all upset lately I was looking at 2015 Corvettes yesterday. Thankfully good friends on here and a angry wife talked me out of it...hell of a deal though..it's like my wife said "you're a Mustang guy you're unhappy in anything else"

Truth guess after 7 years She knows me lol

I'm with you Brent, my wife and I looked at a yellow C7 a few months back. I think she just humored me by going. When I sat in the drivers seat I asked "What do you think?". Her response was to say "you look like a goofball sitting in anything other than a Ford and in particular a Mustang. Get outta that fucking car and wait for your Mustang"

My kona has nothing to do with QC. It left the plant on the 11/1. All I am told is its on its way. That is absolutely ridiculous. Dealers cars built after mine are at dealers/buyer's homes already. Build dater was 10/2. I will be lucky to have it for my 40th on Dec 21. Lost for words. They now have 2 2015's running around my town.

LoL, sounds like she likes Mustangs more than you. My friend has a new C7 and while it looks hot, to say I was cramped is an understatement. The Mustang has never been super roomy for me until now. This one is really great, I can stretch my legs completely straight for the first time. Not to mention the feel of the interior, it reminds me of the awesome AF career I had. If you ever worked vanilla F-4s, this car will bring back memories.

I think we are parked side by side, mine left the plant on the 29th, it is still parked as of yesterday at the shipper. I understand why, but it doesn't mean I like it, matter of fact I hate it, very few things I hate in life too.:(

Yours should be close but I have heard horror stories about transfer times in that yard. Mine got off the train on a Wednesday and arrived Friday morning. Hopefully yours is that quick too.
