Totally valid advice, but I want to holiday in my Mustang not in the wife's SUVYeah, we have two dogs, but they never go in the mustang! That's what my truck is for.
Ours are shorthaired dogs (pit bulls), but they leave a mark on any vehicle; hair mostly, slobber, nose prints on windows, nail scratches on leather. I love 'em but no way are they getting in the mustang. I'm sure precautions could be taken, and everyone may not have a choice sometimes, but if you have a different vehicle, use it!
