Laguna Seca footage with my 2020 GT500 Base Model

Hi folks. I got a chance to run Laguna Seca with my completely stock 2020 GT500 on a 105db day. Unfortunately, I was registering 108db so I did have to lift at a few places to make sure I don't blow sound.

pretty cool. but what do you mean by a 105db day? and that you had to lift at a few places? I don't understand how that matters in a track lol

Apparently, many race tracks have instituted noise limits over the years, to placate other area residents.

There was a db limit of 105 for all cars at this event. The track officials said that stock 2020 GT500s were metering at 106-108 which would black flag you and if you get 3 black flags for the day, you are booted out. I lifted on a couple of the straightaways to not exceed the dbs were the sound meters were supposedly positioned. Noone knows for sure where but some have educated guesses.
