Hi - After announcing my joining the forum, I asked a question and received all kinds of feedback and got an education on octane ratings and compression ratios in the modern car with computer controlled engines - a little different from my ‘65 GTO. While the many answers result in a little redundancy, that’s okay. So, thank you. In my case I don’t have a build date yet and assume that will occur in due time. Thus I probably won’t have anymore questions before then because in my part of NY state I won’t be licensing the car until the early part of April when the spring rains wash away all the road salt residue. I personally have no plans to modify the car aside from adding some low key mud flaps to reduce the risk of paint chipping and I may experiment with some subtle removable pin striping. The car will be garaged when not on the road and won’t be horse whipped at the track, so someday it will be a nice car for the next owner which I hope isn’t anytime soon. Thanks again and I will be following the forum... Bruce

Thanks. I’m assuming ADM means additional dealer markup. My dealer enjoys a good local reputation, so I assumed they would just charge me list price, which was acceptable to me given the Bullit is a limited edition car. My options are MagneRide (recently added) and the Electronics Package. The Recaro seats are unappealing to an old man like me and I really like the memory seat feature. They just sent me a revised pricing sheet after adding the MagneRide and I haven’t called to verify, but it looks like the list price including shipping is $51,385 and net for me is $48,675 including $42 for gas. If that’s the case, it’s a pleasant surprise. Since I traded in my ‘92 Vette, I will save a little sales tax as well. Personally, being retired and borrowing money is a no no in my book and since my objective at this point in life is to have my very last check bounce, I am paying cash via my recent IRA RMD (Required Minimum Distribution from my IRA). Remember, hearses don’t have luggage racks and coffins don’t have pockets, so you can’t take it with you... Bruce
