I bought one of the ebay black ABS plastic GT350 track pack spoilers, it was cheap enough with the 20% off sale the other day that if it turned out really bad I could just throw it away.

It actually looks and feels pretty nice, but didn't come with mounting hardware. The OEM spoiler has studs in it. Does anyone know what the thread size is on these bolt holes? The Chinese seller came back with a vague answer of 5mmx10mm which means literally nothing, M5x1.0? M5x1.25? Just eyeballing it seems like its at least an M6, I work with a ton of metric hardware every day.

Anyone know the answer? I'm sure all of these in the same price range are the same mold.

Most have had luck just using 3m automotive tape to install. I have a PP with no holes in the trunk so I plan to go this route as well. There is even a youtube video of someone using just 3m tape on an RTR spoiler.

Its not an answer to your question but hope this helps.

Yeah, I have the holes so I prefer to use them. I just brought home a thread gauge from work so I'll post the results later when I check it.

I think I have the same spoiler this thing didn’t bring a template or nothing… I replaced the dumb Allen hex screws with studs I locktited to the spoiler to make it easier to install by attaching a nut to the back of it… my issue is that I guess I didn’t do a great job cleaning it or used any adhesive promoter… not trying to take that off coz it was still a nightmare putting on those nuts, but how on earth did y’all secure that 3rd bottom bolt!? I have 6 out of the 8 screws in… well nuts in my case!🤦🏽‍♂️

I ended up putting an ebay gt500 spoiler on my 18' GT Vert. Had to drill 4 new holes. 🤢🤢.. Convertible trunks are not the same as coupes. However. The install, as you said was rough. So happy I'm married to a patient woman that has small hands and doesn't mind me losing it 🤣. Can't believe they designed the trunk that way. A long magnet with a light is your best friend. I dropped the nuts MULTIPLE TIMES. But. After a little sweat and tears. Done!
