I tend to just tape off the trim before I polish and seal.

I use a sealant instead of a wax (Opti-Seal currently), so no worries about white residue.

You could slso use a clear wax like Turtle Wax Ice.

I also use 303 Aerospace Protectant for all my plastic and rubber trim.

This looks doable considering the limited amount of trim on the 2015.

I use turtle wax ice wax and my dad does too. I didn't wax my trim on the mustang but, on his 14' F-150 it actually deepened the trim color to look rich.

303 aerospace is good stuff. I like menzerna powerlock sealant as an easy and effective alternative to traditional wax, and you can use it on black trim

I bought some Adams Super VRT and it seemed to work as it cleared up the sealant that I got on the black trim... However, the stuff seems a little over hyped. One rain and the black trim looks pretty bad...

Does Aerospace 303 work better and last longer than Super VRT? Can you also use it on tires? (The VRT worked well on the tires. Better than the trim.)

Yes and Yes... what I should say is, you can use it on tires. in as far as does it last longer, not really sure about that. it's a unique product that was developed for aerospace and aviation applications that has built in UV inhibitors and it's a wonderful Matte finish... not a shiny wet finish.

I won't use anything else.
