I've been to the Smokies 3 times as a kid. One of the most beautiful places on this side of the Continental Divide. I need to take my wife there.

I'm roughly 2 hours or so from there, we usually go several times a year

We used to go camping there. We also met my dad's cousin there on our way out west camping for 1.5 months. People there were very friendly and I have some great memories. We took one trip down there looking at property to move there, but never ended up buying because my dad went into business for himself that same year.

It is nice there, but if your ever gonna move there you need to go to the outskirts.
