I have the base Stereo 4.3" head unit and have been looking for upgrades.

1)Need better than the older Android 4.3 units on ebay. ($400-600)
2)Better than the custom kit to add my Nexus 7 tablet on top of the existing unit with no good recharge options ($350-450)
3)Also needs something more budget friendly than the giant Tesla style unit - which remains untested but is like $1200.

Came across these on Amazon with newer Android 5.1 and all are double din with screens from 7", 8" and 10.1":

Official site - seems legit:
https://www.carjoying.com/2-din-android-car-gps-navigation.html

Only write up I found was this on XDA to someone trying it with a linked video too:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...s/joying-5-1-1-7-mtcd-jyv1-head-unit-t3408764

Has anyone else thought of these or have any feedback or opinions?

I had one in my Charger. They are not that great. Programming the SWC's is buggy, and it's often sub-par hardware relabeled as something it's not. IMHO, the TomTop/KKmoon/DoCooler is much better. Also, fittinf a Double Din radio will be a hack-job, since there's no official dash kit as far as I know, and the one in production was near $500.
