I have 2 floor Jack's with the 4" round plates. To big for the small opening thats about 2" for the factory jack. Anyone have a fix or mod for this problem.

Thanks

I am sorry for confusion. I need something like roadpilot suggested but not so pricey.
Thanks

These! I have these installed and they are excellent!
@BrianJ77, I may have first saw these after following up on one of YOUR posts ... :)

I'm leaning towards the Steeda jack rails. We shall see.

10/10 recommend a cheap hockey puck. No need to pay for jacking pucks which are the same thing :)

I looked at a bunch, and if I go with the jack pucks over the jack rail, I'll get those. But I'm really leaning towards the Steeda jack rails.

Steeda 555 5205 Mustang Coupe Low-Profile Jacking Rails (15-24)
or
Steeda 555 5212 Mustang Coupe Full-Length Jacking Rails (15-24)

Here are a few other options (pads and rails).

Ford Mustang Jack/Lift Pads – ZL1 Addons

BMR Mustang Chassis Jacking Rails; Shorter Tube; Black Hammertone BMR-CJR760H (15-24 Mustang Fastback) - Free Shipping (americanmuscle.com)

Search results for: 'JACKING RAILS' (cjponyparts.com)

The SVE pucks install permanently, so they are there if you take it to a shop. Hockey pucks aren't. They are also prominently labeled so the tech SEES them and uses them.

But, sure, if you're a cheap ass, get some hockey pucks. :)

Exactly! And they have an engraving of the word, "JACK" so that any goon at the dealership can clearly identify the jacking location and not ruin your pinch welds being clumsy with the lift.

LOL like the techs actually pay attention. I have an oil cap that says 5W50 and a Roush supercharger that is hard not to notice; twice I've had oil changes where the tech put in 5W20 oil. Good thing I always check before leaving the dealership...now we have a routine, where the tech brings the bottles of oil for me to see BEFORE putting them in..........I know, why don't I change my own oil is the question....

I do perform most of my own work. I'll use the dealer for warranty claims, but that's about it. If I have to go to the dealer I'll put a sticky note on the dash where it can't be missed. If my pinch welds are damaged there'll be hell to pay!

When I took mine in I told the service manager to have the tech use the pucks. It's even noted on my invoice. My dealer is really good about stuff like that.
