if you think encryption tech is what will kill the aftermarket i think you are wrong, what that might do is make the stand alone sector grow larger in order to take over what you can no longer do with the stock stuff if it really gets to be unbreakable. i believe what can really kill the aftermarket are laws like the ones on California where you can no longer sell any aftermarket partsi 100 percent agree within 10 years the aftermarket is going to be dying out. Encryption based ecus, more turbo tech, the list can go on and on. But more the most part besides the enthusiast crowd and maybe someone wanting to throw in a tune. The days of major major mods are over. Now the v8 guys as long as the engines don’t get too nuts won’t change much but all the turbo motors sheeeeet
