Yea you can get the 051a package for that price... Look around, you can get closer to 23k with some negotiations

The internet sales manager at one of the dealerships in West Palm called me regarding my inquiry about the race red Mustang that had an MSRP of $25,815 (upfront price of $24,900) and I simply told him after he said $24,900 was the best deal they have on those models as they honor their upfront prices, "I will come first thing Thursday morning and sign the paperwork and drive off the lot if you get the price around $23-24k" and he instantly said, "Best wishes on your car hunting. Have a good day."

I'm still considering going down there.

Why do you ask advice on a forum and not take any? Plenty of dealers will take X Plan, this dealership isn't giving you x plan pricing.

He didn't issue me any X-Plan prices because I didn't mention it to him on the phone.
I did, however, immediately e-mail him telling him I qualify for their X-Plan and he said, "Yes, of course. That is good news. You get a lower price, that is already on the factory invoice under X-PLAN, minus the rebate."

You're very confusing, lol. So are you asking if X Plan prices are good?

Sorry, I'm just overly-excited, but nervous at the same time because I don't want to be ripped off. I know X-Plan prices are good, I just want to make sure I do my duty to get a good price on the car that I don't want to miss out on or had the opportunity to get.

I can't wait to see what car you get. Your excitement is contagious, and I'm happy for you. Be sure to post photos.

I'm just a week away from delivery on mine, and I'm pretty excited these days too!

Three dealerships close to me in Dallas (I haven't even checked all of them) each have multiple V6 at the same MSRP of $25815. The prices are $24237, $24484 (with tinted windows), $25112.

Another dealership has one with 051A, the sticker is: $26,615 and the out the door price is $23,971.

These are all prices posted on the internet and have no negotiation yet and could potentially be lower, especially for the first three. Keep checking, you can do better. If you can't do better, buy a ticket on Southwest to Love Field, buy your car here and drive it home. ;)

If you have X-Plan get that price, minus whatever incentives currently show up when you build the car on ford.com. I just glanced at ford.com and it looks like they have $500 off right now. So that's probably a good price. There is less margin on the lower-end vehicles. They can take off more on the more expensive models like GT.

Just make sure you are happy with your decision and options that you get. Don't wig out if you buy it then find out you could have saved another $200. Enjoy the car. :)

Someone already suggested it but I wanted to reiterate, get a manual and save about $1200. There'll be a learning curve but it'll pay off in dividends.

UPDATE:

Out of 9 dealers within a 150-200 mile radius that I've called so far this morning, none of them could beat (or had) what the Ford dealership in Kissimmee is wanting to give me ($25,717) out of the door. They couldn't even give me a cheaper price even without the "dealer-installed alarm system!" I called up my saleswoman in Kissimmee and told her to seal the deal, put down my $500 security deposit, and now since it was a locate vehicle, it's on it's way right now to the dealership for them to detail it and get it ready for me tomorrow morning.

I won't be able to sleep tonight. Thanks, Ford. :ford:
