Damn I love this car!
I'm taking it easy by keeping it to 3k (ish!) revs max for the first 500 miles - so frustrating when I want to keep going! Lol

I've found a few issues so far:
-paint rub as above
- bonnet 'flutters' at 60ish plus
- climate control seems odd, the air out of each vent is a different temperature, and anything above 18 degrees on the sel vote results in actual warm air being pumped out
- the passenger seat release on the back of the chair seems like it doesn't work half the time

Are any of these known issues?
Also had to reset my phone connection a few times via Bluetooth and twice the audio 'section' of Sync just had a revolving circle

My car is away having some paintwork sorted, my bonnet also flutters and I believe this is a 'feature'! Haven't had to try the heater yet but I've had no issues with connecting my phone (an old blackberry curve) and no issues with chair release handle.

In a weird way I'm glad that some of these aren't issues - and wow what a 'feature' to have with a bonnet that buffets about!
Cheers for the info, will still try and stop in to see you if I see the mustang outside - it wasn't there yesterday afternoon when I went past. Would still like to see the sto'n'sho in the flesh!

So here's a question that's been on my mind over the weekend - it doesn't seem that the dash middle screen has any option to display information that is remotely useful to me while I am driving - there are the engine readouts, but I don't really look at the vacuum thing on a regular basis, the most relevant to day to day life seems to be the trip computer.

What do people have showing on theirs when driving normally, am I missing something?

I have the engine read outs showing don't care on the mileage or mpg but i want to know my air/head temps and oil temps/pressure

Had it on the fuel economy for a long time. Miles to empty is on mine at the moment - one click on the arrows brings you to tyre pressure too which is always handy.

Oil temp for the first 10 mins. And then trip. I sometimes have it on accelerometer too just for fun :lol:

What would you find 'interesting'?

Trip computer mostly, I want to know when I'll next need fuel, especially on long trips. I also spend 99.999% of the time. With my eyes on the road ahead, you never know when some idiot is spending all their time behind the wheel looking at shit other than the road :lol:

The rest?, well they can be useful if you've modded the intakes/power/map.

I guess in other cars I've driven with a similar setup, the centre screen displays things like speed, radio, sat nav next turn etc - ie is it used to pull together other sources of info to cause you to take your eyes off the road less.
Maybe its just a different philosophy on how its used, but it is the most 'standalone' in the Mustang of any car I've driven

Must admit, I did like the Mondeo's where it showed lane position, next turn for sat nav etc on it's dash screen, however, Mine sits on the screen with the green MPG bar, I am an Ecoboost owner after all, if it's not on that, it's on the boost setting or the high level view of the boost, air temps, cylinder head temps, oils etc.
