From my understanding, the only difference is there is a bit of metallic flake in it but it’s not very noticeable.

kinda was hoping for a pure blue metallic effect, and not a flake. kind of let down if true. a reflective/shiny grabber blue would be beautiful. like anodized grabber blue

No, as mentioned the '22 color is now a metallic (as used on the Mach E).
