For anyone looking, I figured I’d post this. I took a chance and ordered the cheap eBay PP2 one piece splitter. I didn’t find much on the forums about it. The piece came in a very large box and wrapped in padding. The holes lined up perfectly on the 4 outer mounting points. It came with self tapping hardware which I did utilize, however it would be easy enough to go back and install with the nut/bolts like the factory or other aftermarket options. With the self tap option, I was able to yank around on the splitter with a significant amount of force without no pulling away. I’m fairly pleased with the cheap mod.

I can take more photos on request. Texture and color matches nicely.

EDIT: I can only verify fitment on this splitter is for the PP1 Mustang with Performance Package splitter.

Looks good. I may consider this in the future. So it’s only four self tapping screws?

No sorry I wasn't clear on that, if you watch install videos, the stock PP1 splitter has 2 screws on each outer side (4 total) that can be used to help mount it and align it. I used those, then added about 10 self tappers. The splitter has pre-drilled holes just like the OEM unit does. But instead of drilling and using nut/bolts/body trees I just used the self tappers. I can take an underside shot but its secure. It came with like 20 but that seemed like overkill and I do plan to do it the right way later on.

Would love to see some photos and the right way later on if you want to follow up. I have just a GT Premium but it also says it is compatible with that front lip so I am curious as I thought the PP1 and Premium had different mounts.

I was gonna order one from another vendor, but just the freight was almost same price as ebay one. Theirs shipped for free.
Hope it is a winner. Ordered the last one available according to ebay sight.

I'm assuming this is for the PP1 front only, but I'm fairly new to the S550.

EDIT: It appears the CS front is the same. Thats news to me.

Got my ebay splitter installed, so easy. Did on my back in driveway. Looks good.
I added some rivets at end of splitter next to tires, and a couple in the center to tighten up and secure.

Looks awesome! I'm very pleased for such a "cheap" eBay mod. Glad someone else was able to pull the trigger!

Now when you're at it - why not add a third or fourth splitter and you have a staircase? :like:
