Having problems connecting my phone to the wifi through sync. I hit search on my phone, it finds sync, ask for the password, password goes through but can't access the internet. What do I need to do? Then I try to connect the sync to the wifi in my house and sync cant find my wifi? What do I need to do??

The WiFi that is part of the stereo in the car requires a connected phone (or usb WAN device 3G/4G) to be connected and then the connection is shared out to the rest of the passengers. The car does not have built it 3G/4G if that's what you are thinking.

A MiFi from Verizon might work in place of the phone/USB device.

I was trying to connect sync to the wifi in my house. Also trying to use sync as a hotspot
