I will have some from China in a few days.
I like blue but they have red and green too.
You can cut the strip.
I did 2 strips, one for the left and one for the right side.
I hid part of it under the dash trim, cut wires right after the plugs and wired it to the fuse box.
Red is positive, black is negative. You may need a fuse too.
Again, made in China, it makes a constant high pitch noise and the life is about 1000 hrs according to them with poor English lol.
I wrapped the "transformers" to lower the noise, it's not that bad after all.
I looove it!

Figured out how to do it and will be doing it myself once the orders come in. You'll need to buy welted EL wire, a 12v power adapter, and a fuse tap. Should be able to do for less than $30, all findable on Amazon and/or eBay. You could use regular EL wire, but the welted kind has a little fin that will fit in the seams of the trim to hold in place, regular won't be as easy... also known as sewable EL wire.

Basically, all you need to do is plug the wire in to the adapter and wire the adapter to the fuse tap so you can run it directly to a switchable fuse in your footwell fuse box (you will also need to find a ground). Outside of that, just a matter of popping off the interior trim to run it under anything you want, or just tuck the welt/fin on the wire in to the trim gaps. I'll be doing it in a couple days once I order everything and will write up an install with pics if you guys would like.

Yes please! Instructions with pics would be awesome. Im not too tech savvy /:

Can you provide us with a link to purchase please. I'd love to try the red one.

Does this mean you are not sharing installation instructions with the forum, pockama?
