Installing the UPR Single Valve Catch can & CSS on a TVS

While at NMRA Bowling Green I had the chance to help a friend get one of our Single Valve Catch Cans with our Clean Side Separator on his 2015 Mustang GT which is powered by a VMP TVS Supercharger.

With this being a VERY easy install, it took no more then 15minutes. The only tools you will need is a:

Needle Noise Pliers
10mm Deep Socket & Wrench


Installation:

First thing I did was remove the factory hose on the driver side valve cover that connect to the intake tube and install the Clean Side Separator.This unit attaches right onto the valve cover and the line is already cut to length with the quick connectors.



Once it's installed, thats all you need to do on the driver side.

Next, I started to install the passenger side Single Valve Catch Can. This installs the same as our 5030-98 System (directions found here: http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-37354654005614/upr-products-5030-98-install.pdf)

Here are some pictures of me installing the bracket that will hold our can.

Now... with the hose..... You have only 2 to install. The hose that has nothing in the line will connect from the passenger side valve cover to the TOP of the can.

The line that has the check valve will connect on the side of the can to the blower.

Make sure the arrow is facing the supercharger

ADDITION NOTES!!!!

When you remove the factory hose that connects the valve cover to the supercharger and T's off to the back of the blower, you will remove the front section with clips using the needle noise pliers. You will then plug the hose with the suppled cap and use the zip tie to secure it.


Once this is complete..... YOUR DONE!

Hi, I know this is an old post but I figured I would take a shot and see if anyone answered. Instead of plugging/capping the dirty air hose that is no longer used, could you cap the inlet on the back of the blower so there would not be extra hose loose? Thank you for the write up! Installing my own soon.
