Hello All,
My car failed inspection( Pennsylvania) due to a bad driver side inner tie rod. I went and replaced the inner and the outer tie rod and passed the inspection. My 2015 Gt premium has 121000 miles on and my steering wheel has slight play. Should I have replaced both passenger and driver side inner and outer tie rods? The dealer did a alignment when I went back for the inspection. With the car at a standstill and not running I can move the steering wheel back and forth a inch both ways before I feel resistance. Anticipating help from you guys. I started to take the steering wheel off to see if the bolt was loose.
Thank everyone in advance.
