Absolutely love the idea, but it will need to be chrome-like or silver for me to buy one. I dislike black emblems aqs much as I dislike black wheels.

This has been on the table of discussion, we are think possible black and chrome versions.

With chrome may do a limited number/color due to the fact most either do black out or delete the pony altogether.

This could be true in US since you had the pony from 50 years.. not in Europe because it's the first time we can have a pony in our car!!

While I'd personally prefer a black pony, I imagine quite a few people would prefer the stock look of the chrome pony.

I'm in for a black one! Do you know if the install will be relatively easy?

Depends on your skills. You will need to remove the entire front bumper to be able to remove the upper grille. The original pony is held in the grille by 4 plastic pins that are sortof melted to the grille platic on the backside. You will need to dremel those connections loose. I don't know how the new one will be attached, might be with similar pins or perhaps just by 2-sided tape.

I've seen a video about removing the front emblem without removing bumper (cjpp perhaps?) but then you still have to connect wires.

Same here. Black is a no-go. Need a chrome version. In addition to not liking black, I wouldn't want to make the pony harder to see in the day time just to make it stand out at night.

we will also do a video because we have these cars here... the pony has plastic pins then theres a metal washer that holds it tight, thing is taking them off you most likely break the plastic pin.

We are also prototyping a chrome version stay tuned....
