So it Does Not Actually Brake for You to Avoid a Crash. It just Pre-Charges the Brakes so when You do Brake it Gives Full Assist... Sorry I'll Pass. I don't use Cruise Enough to even consider it.

I was previously under the impression that this feature worked even if cruise is not engaged and set, but now I'm not so sure. If it only works with the cruise set, I definitely think it diminishes the value.

Collision avoidance system will work independently of ACC system. It uses the same set of sensors but can be disabled/activate without any interference from ACC.
