How to reset ECU?

I want to reset the ECU from the values learned on engine and trans.
In some cars disconnecting the battery for 20 min does it. On others you use the manufacturers shop scanners. How is done in the Mustang? can we use the SCT?
There is no code, just erase the learning done by obdII, under someones driving style..

don't recall seen that in my sct x4....

You will also notice a difference in the shifts, especially part throttle

Did it yesterday...very easy. The cold start sounded different, smoother.
I let it idle until reach about 800rpm. today i have a 100 mile trip, so let's see how it behaves, during that new learning cycle.
In other cars I have done it, improves mpgs, and shifts better....
