I am ready to black out my roof with 3M on a ruby red mustang. How do you remove the red antenna to wrap it with black vinyl?

Sit in the back of the car. What I did was wiggle off the liner behind the rear pillars and then you can pull the back down. There will be two black rubber plugs that keep it up on the left and on the right, just use some pressure and these come out fairly easy. There is a 10mm screw that is holding the GPS unit in place. Remove this screw and the plastic brace. Unplug the GPS sensor from the clip and pull the retainer plug from its hole (PS this sucker is in there GOOD and is a pain to get out. In all reality you can just cut the plastic piece as there is not that much wire travel for the retainer IMO). Then pull out top.

When you get to the back and pull the liner down a little you will see everything I am talking about.
