How much hp is too much hp?

So I had a 2017 roush stage 3 and now I’m looking to get a new car and I was wondering if a newer c63s amg with 500hp would be enough for a little bit of street racing once in a while.

I’ve never had a car built before but I’m also looking into buying an a10 and supercharging or turbo it. I’m wondering if buying parts and building it/tuning would be too much of a hassle as well.

Would the stock amg be fast enough cuz I drove it and it feels nice but I havnt seen it compared to other cars

Also will be daily driving it so I’d keep it a street car
