How good is the factory security system?

Is anyone planning to put in extra security features? I put in a Ravelco in my last new car after I had one of my cars stolen. Downside is its unsightly, and relatively bulky.

Take a look at mavlon tech's cameras if you may find any security camera for your requirements as their cameras have been working great for me.
