Jesus mother mary of god that's insane.
The quote i got for just the front counting hood and fenders was 1800 which is not too bad and gets all of the critical frontal area.

I have 305's on the front so in front of the rear tires got it pretty bad as well.

Its too late for me i will just do a bra and the repaint it if need be. Its not a real big deal to me as it is mainly a track car.

My salesman told me that with stock tires ( which I have) there's not too much to worry about with tires slinging pebbles etc back against the wheel wells, and paint. But he said when they move a car with summer only tires, even at 5mph you can hear the soft rubber picking up everything in sight and slinging it back. I installed mudflaps before I drove off the lot, the took it literally across the street to have bra put on the entire front clip ( bumper, fenders, hood, mirrors) as well as a small area behind the rear tire. The rest got ceramic coating. Cost me $2800 and I love it more and more each day.Car is Magnetic.

I did a paint correction and ceramic coating on my car. It hard but not hard enough to resist a bunch of road rash etc from track use. I use TrackArmor clear tape. It is 3" wide strips and comes on a roll. Looks terrible to be honest but does a pretty solid job of protection. I have also used 3m red painters tape so it some what blended in with the car and that was good also, but took longer to tape up since the tape width is small. I think a clear 3m film on the front of the car is clutch but most people want 5-600 to do that on cars like ours. I just tape and figure I could have it painted for less if it still got bad later. JMO

I will say "OPR" (little black rubber streaks) is a major pain to remove from a white car!
Heat gun and wax works VERY well. No need to use Ammo stuff either. Barely have to touch it to get it off.
