Just a thought, but it's probably not the greatest idea to enter your exact home address into Sync in the first place.

Norm
You can enter it, but I wouldn't save it as a favorite. I would also go into history and delete it.

Just something I do....I never put my actual home address in the nav. I'll enter something close by just in case someone is nosy. I have a Walgreen's a mile or so away programmed as Home.
I did that with my portable GPS, using a church about a mile from my house. I figured that if they grabbed the Garmin off my dash, they knew I wasn't home and they needed to get right with the Lord.

But, unless you keep your registration and insurance on you and not in your car, then they have your address already when they steal your car. Not having home in the onboard navigation then won't matter. The thief will just pull out the registration and insurance and input the address that way.

So did you update maps in the 2020 Edge. If not Maps 1.19 is showing your address and Maps 1.20 is not. Weird but possible.
No, I did not update the maps in the Edge. From recollection, I merely did a WIFI update, and I believe that was just an update to Sync.

As soon as I purchased the Edge, my address/subdivision showed on the map.

How about using the address of the local police station . . .

Norm
Haha, that's actually a bloody brilliant idea. Even more so, since there is one literally around the corner 2 minutes away.
