Holidays being forced/pushed onto everyone

Ah, but I'm in the wait and hold with any new os. as w8 was a dumpster fire, and ten wasn't all that much better when it first came out.

I only had trouble with Windows ME… everything after that was okay. Not sure why I didn’t experience all the issues others had.

Heck I ran all types of software and hardware over the years. Some software I created myself.

I had some random issues like power supply failures over years but that is a given.

I think much of the hate ,issues with W8 was much of the other software people OWNED did not work or play nice with it or 10. We now know the reason that the older software didn't play nice or work, everyone wanted to move to a pay monthly model instead of buy it and own it marketing model.
I still have a w95 desktop for just this reason, and a w7 .
Very costly software that I bought but only used more of a hobby than part of a business , no need to pay a monthly bill for the newer one. When the older photoshop was 700.00 the music studio stuff was in the thousands, and the cad programs were a few thousand bucks, microsoft office 95 works just fine for my needs and I own it. lol, same with the other very costly software. Admittedly none of these computers get connected to the internet as that would not be a good idea, but buying renting a bunch of programs/ software I already own just doesn't make sense , if it was for the business sure, but for hobby use, nah.

If you have ever read any Microsoft license agreements you will find that you have never owned anything at all. You have a license to use it, no more, no less. Adobe are the same as are most others

As buy it once over the monthly subscription model of today.
but you just have to try to look like your a big man. and try to make others look stupid.
