Also, is that 3.31 gearing for that good of mileage? Curious.
Not sure what the gearing is, but I'm sure it's whatever helps get the best mileage! And it's an automatic.
EDIT: The car is non-PP, so I assume it does have the 3.31 gearing.

I have actually run off a couple of 5.8-second and 5.9-second 0-60mph runs (per the on-board computer), so it has plenty of power.

Noticed you are in Dayton  - I come through there twice a day during the work week: I live just south of Wilmington, and work up in Sidney.

I'm up to 32K, and the only issues I've had were self-inflicted.

And yes, I did realize that I resurrected a two-year old post....
Great info - that many miles don't get on the car overnight, so periodic updates are going to be necessary.

I have only owned the car for about 18 months. Bought it with about 35k miles on it. I change the oil and filter(s) regularly, and have done nothing else to the car except new rear tires (this past weekend; fronts will be replaced in a month or two). Looks like I am coming up on a spark plug replacement in a few months (at 100k).

Still going strong at 115,000 miles. I had to replace some little $40 hose on top of the engine (got a "check engine" light, forget what code), and did replace the front tires and spark plugs at 100k, but everything else runs like the day I got it. Still has the original brakes on it ( ! ), and I continue to autocross. Bravo Ford!
