Thanks John, I had similar results although this stutter just started happening. I have the Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port BoV that I had on the car until I got scared off. To be honest though, I really like the concept of how the Boomba BPV works since it is still controlled by the ECU. I think this really will be the solution, I just need to work up the nerve to forget the warranty, get the Turbonetics Turbo, Boomba BPV and new HPFP and see what she can make on pump 93. It's just so hard to give up that warranty. Especially since I purchased the extended. :(
Buy the Boomba BPV instead of their BOV. It's ECU controled, same as stock, it also re-circulates same as stock, just doesn't leak like stock... I'd have a hard time believing they could blame anything on that, which is why I included an ECU controlled BOV or BPV in my TST Optamization thread (which was originally focused on warranty safe or very low risk mods that promoted both power and reliability but eventually turned into low risk modifications that may void the warranty by including Livernois tune).

That's the one I want. However, I'm certain they at least will try to not cover damage under warranty if I install it. I could definitely fight it and most likely win but it would be a hassle. Refer to Ford's Gas Engine Performance Modifications Job Aid, section C.2.1.2 Compressor Bypass Valve (Blowoff Valve). If there was Turbo compressor damage for example and they saw this BPV in there, they would try to deny warranty coverage.

I'm talking about my dealer, I know how limited their thinking is. Now I could have the BPV tested and get expert testimony and hire a lawyer to fight it and probably win but the time and money might not be worth it.

I find this really stupid as I genuinely believe this is one of those cases that I'd be truly replacing an inferior part with a better quality part that does the same function. This wouldn't be trying to change the operation but I know the way my dealer thinks. I know the obvious reply is find another dealer.
