I installed the driver and passenger side Ford Performance Oil Separators today and seem to be having a few problems.
First, on the driver's side, the push pin that attached the mounting arm by the sound insulation broke while installing. I reused the original pin, which was a different type of pin compared to the 1 supplied with the kit. Question is, is that OK or will I have problems with it detaching.
Second, after installing the passenger side, the short hose that connects from the inside is so crimped that I think it is going to split. i have included pictures to show the problem. Is this going to cause issues?
