Help is there a oring on oil pump pickup?

I am in the process of installing my oil pump gears on m 2015 mustang and I saw instructions that mention a ring on the oil pump pickup tube. I am thinking they changed this on the 2015 but I need to validate this. Does anyone know if there was an orange on the pickup tube where it goes into the oil pump?

I found the page in the manual and it does show an oring on the pickup tube. I guess I am pulling it back apart to see if i can figure out where it went.

Do you remember what the oring looked like. Is it black or gray? I didn't notice one on mine. When you pulled your pump off did the oring stay on pickup tube or embedded in the pump.
