I found a 2018 Crimson Red 2018 premium auto car local. The history of the car seems to be a bit of a mystery and I am wondering if anyone here could shed some light. It's an odd car as someone spent a lot of money on a billet short block which the invoice labels as a "5.4 Stroker", yet no listed cams or head work.
It was purchased Colorado Springs and "special ordered" per invoice. It seems to have been driven nearly directly to RMCR "Rocky Mountain Competitive Research" in Colorado Springs where they installed a MMR short block which I have an invoice for totaling $19,590.01. They also installed a Roush Supercharger. The name on the invoice is "Jeff Oniel". The car ended up in Georgia owned by a guy in Griffin, GA.
It seems odd to me that someone would spend that kind of money on a short block so soon in a car's life. Today the car only has 13,000mi. The car came with quite a few invoices and some paperwork, but nothing really makes sense.
Thanks all for any info,
Eric
