hey guys I'm simply wanting a little more bass out of my 2018 GT. it does not have the shaker Pro. just the 9 speaker. I don't need anything special, but I was thinking if I replaced the front two door speakers that are 6.5" with some kicker 2 ways and had a 8 or 10" sub installed in the truck that would be plenty for me. I just don't know what all I need and or what to expect cost wise. I have lots of things I could use the money for besides this but the bass just seems to be almost non existant. Thoughts on my thinking process to add a little bass and how much amp would I need etc? i'm a total newb at all this. I will say my 2012 GT with kicker door speakers was WAY better than this sound system I have now.

I would use the Search Function as this topic has multiple threads already.

I added a Rockford Fosgate P300-12 and that’s all I needed. Added the bass I was looking for and it’s very controllable and you can remove the box by a quick disconnect whenever you want. If a little more bass is all you want this is the ticket. And it’s easily removed if you want and can put right back in

You can try the kicker hideaway. It is a powered sub. It will not take up much space in your trunk. If you want trunk rattling bass, you will need something else.
