So I just finished tinting my headlights and taillights with tint from bigwormgraphix! Super fast shipping and the products showed up in a nice flat cardboard box with GREAT instructions and an install tool, not rolled up in a small tube like some others...

I choose the headlight kit and tail light kit in gun smoke color found here: https://www.bigwormgraphix.net/2015-Mustang-smokedlights.htm

This was not my first attempt at tinting my headlights and taillights. I tried using another company with awful luck. The tail light tints wouldnt fit my 50th anniversary model and the tint was super thin and very cheap. Ending up ruining the kit trying to install and this was not my first time tinting...

So, I ordered from Big Worm and their kits are AMAZING and they offer a 50th anniversary option! The tint is very high quality! Probably double or triple as thick as the flimsy other company. It took me about 2 hours to do the tail lights and headlights. It looks amazing!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Ill get some better photos soon!

It looks good! Can you show us a pic with the headlights shining on the closed garage door? My only concern has been the headlights. We get tons of rain here and I drive a lot during the night. That has been mine only concern.

Totally agree with your review, Kryckter. I went with Big Worm Graphic's "tint" shade; the lightest of the three shades they offer. Still gives a nice tint to all the lenses but it's not too dark for me. No issues at all with the headlights at night.

And the requested image of lights on in a closed garage. Still blinding bright!

Thanks for the garage pic. It doesn't look like you lose any light with the tint. adding to my list of future mods!

That looks great Kryckter, I was sold on Big Worm before I even saw this post but would your recommend someone who has now experience installing something like that having a professional do it or trying it themselves? I was originally thinking of having my window tinter install it when I have them come out to do my windows. Also how long did it take you to do the whole install?

It took me about 2 hours to do the tail lights and headlights and I had someone helping. I wouldnt be afraid to try it by yourself, but if your window tinter would do it for a decent price I would probably just let them do it. (And I know how to tint :))

So, Overall - ANY light output loss ? Noticeable ??? 5-10%% ?
Dont know for sure yet, I havent driven much at night. I should have some more answers this weekend.

10-4. Well, I'm just going to find out for myself, hahaha. Going to get all of it on this weekend I'm hoping. Did you use a spraybottle w/ some watter to make it go smoothly ? hair dryer ? I skimmed over the directions before throwing them out.. You know how that goes. :frusty:

I used one bottle that was 32oz of water and about 4 drops of dishwater soap. Sprayed the light and back and front of the tint ALOT! This allows your to move the tint and get it aligned perfect. Then the bottle of all water comes out and sprayed alot with some peeling back of the tint to get the soapy water out and using the squeegee to set the tint back down and get all the water and air out.

I used a heat gun but a hair dryer would work as well and personally I think it is needed. Ive never done one without though so I dunno...
