Why do people feel the need to insult another persons taste or ideas?
I agree, although I actually think the constructive criticism is a good thing. I have no problem with someone saying that don't like something that I have done. I am even appreciative of folks that not only dislike what I have done, but offer suggestions.

I don't get people that dislike something that someone did, and then have to go borderline insult them, and then furthermore, have nothing as a suggestion.

As for the logo, I like it. As someone said already, probably won't do it to my own, but I think it's quite muted, unlike those people with 1997 Honda accords with "HONDA" decal on their windshields.

I think if it were more muted? Color is very close to the headliner color, it'd be cool too.

But then again, I also do not like the visor airbag cover ups, albeit the airbag sticker does get annoying (it's the brightest thing in my peripheral vision). I am kinda ocd in that I like to keep my car the way it came from the factory.

I don't get it, where is the insult?

10splaya22 said he's not a fan and his constructive reasoning is that he finds it cheesy. What more does he need to say that is constructive when the only thing he could do is...not reply or say he would not have installed? And then he added to the fact that all that matters is what the OP likes - supporting the OP's self confidence.

He provided his opinion. The OP posted to share his DIY and its open for opinions good or bad.

So far, IMO, this thread has not even treaded anywhere near insults.

I put this vinyl decal dead center of my head liner and I think it looks awesome.. it's not obtrusive, you only see it when you look up. I personally feel like beside the " since 1964 " every 2015 should have had some sort of nod to 50 years..this was my fix. It takes a Lil patience to get it to fully adhere to the lining. ..I used the glossy Siriusxm channel guide to " " iron" it on. Been on for a month or so..ain't goin nowhere...tough to get a good pic of.

I like it very much, looks good........ :)John

Exactly, I read over the replies a couple times and couldn't find the insult.

For the record I wasn't insulting him I was just stating my opinion. The reason he posted the thread was to discuss the idea which is what everyone is doing. I don't see the issue since that's the whole point of this forum.

To each his own. In person it looks like it's meant to be there...I got it from ebay. ..if I ever get tired of it it will come right off with no residue. Win win ..plus with the red line interior this brushed silver looks sweet

Where on eBay ? - like what was it called? The Horse could easily be turned around.

What was meant is why reply saying its cheesy and only that it's cheesy. As I said your opinion is not the issue because we are all allowed to our own opinion. My point is unless you have feedback of any kind besides your opposing opinion then it's not constructive and gives absolutely zero to the topic.

I usually don't even get involved when this happens and truly wish I didn't because now I just shake my head back and forth and move on.

The OP stated he wasn't offended so no harm no foul. The last thing I wanted was for his thread to be side tracked like this so for that I am sorry and this will be my last off topic comment.

Back on topic and a question to the OP. Do you know if the place you got the decal from has smaller scale versions? If so could you point me in the right direction to find them?

Thanks!

Jaime

I'm glad they don't force sunroof on us like VW did with their Autobahn (Premium equivalent) packages.
