HD Radio on Standard Premium Sync 3 System?

So... I'm pretty sure the brochures and whatnot state that you get HD radio with the B&O only. I have I guess what you'd call the "premium" system, meaning the 8" Sync 3 display and 9 speakers, but not the B&O. Under my radio options, there's a button for enabling HD radio though. When I press it, it flips to on, then right back to off. Is this how other's systems work? Has anyone looked in to Forscan to see if there's a simple code change that would actually allow this function to work? Seems like with most things in these cars now-a-days, it's probably more of a software limitation over hardware difference.

I'm looking for info on this as well. I have the 301A package and I was hoping it would have HD radio but it doesn't.

What does it take to get HD radio on a GT with out the B&O raido?
