About Me:

My name is Daniel and I’ve been serving in the United States Army for almost 14 years now. When I was young, my family had a 66 Mustang Coupe sitting the garage that was being restored which I fell in love with. From then on I knew I had to get me one. Growing up now I’ve had 2 mustangs; a 07’ Mustang GT and now a 17’ Mustang GT 6speed.

Snapped a pic of the interior showing off wolfzcarbon dash kit along with a 3M wrapped Center Gauge console done by myself. Got more pieces of the trim coming in hopefully soon. I love how something simple can change the feel of the interior.

Love coming home to packages. Just waiting on the BMR Level 2 Lockout Kit to come in from @LethalPerformance and I’ll go ahead and install everything.

Update still waiting on the Cradle Lockouts from BMR so that I can install everything else in one shot. But this weekend I entered myself in Street Car Takeover St Louis with a few of my buddies. Ran in the Roll Racing 140mph max class. Did a test pass and ran a 138.

Round 1 they paired me up with my buddies turned down GTR and I ended up DQing running a 142. Didn’t think that adding a few gallons of E98 would net me 4mph faster. Oh well.

Yeah super fun. Got the itch but I’m still on stock axles or else I’d be going more often. Soon tho.

Finally hit the dyno last night

Stock clutch did not like the 5th gear pull. Slipped till about 4500-5000. First 2 pulls he did 4th gear till 6500 and it made 720. Motioned me over and asked me how high I want to go and I said 5th 8k. Made 754/564.

Finally got the lockouts today. Gonna get everything installed this weekend and aligned in prep for Nov 1st. Gonna take it to the track and launch it for the first time.

Nov 8 : Took it to the track today with the mindset of trying not to break anything. My plan was to idle launch it and see what it would trap then once I got comfortable, give it alittle rpms and slip the clutch.

First pass. Idle launched it but missed 4th gear and coasted through the 1/4.

Second pass. Slipped the clutch at around 2500-3000 but stock clutch didn’t like it and tire shook so I got out of it but managed a 1.8 60’. Called it a day after that because I was already pushing my luck for the day. Overall happy to break the nerves and get out there and looking forward to building it for the winter.
