So currently rocking a steeda H pipe with corsa sport axel backs and its been about 2 years now. But now I'm starting to not like the tone nor the idle of this set up. If I spent the 700$ would I notice a difference in the double helix X pipe? Considering the steeda is a 2.5" and the corsa is a 3" I figured that would take some effect in sound as well as going from a deep tone to a more raspy tone.

What would you do? YouTube videos don't do it any justice so I can't compare what I have now to a YouTube video vs in person

The X-pipe is known to provide a more aggressive exhaust note and can give a more pronounced growl and bark to the engine sound. However, whether you will like the sound will ultimately depend on your personal preferences. If you have the opportunity to hear the double helix X-pipe in person on a similar car, that would be the best way to gauge whether it's the right choice for you.

The Corsa Sport axle back is the same rear as the xtreme cat back (sport catback uses the touring axle back). It is a raspier setup even on stock (gets very trumpety on long tubes). With the double x it would likely get a bit raspier with a tad increase in volume as well. Idle and low rpms will still be relatively quiet as is the case with the Corsas. Will still scream up top with no drone.

I have had both the corsa double h pipe and double x pipe with both corsa sport and corsa extreme mufflers. The only real difference you will see is in the lower rpms and normal street driving, the Double X is a bit louder due to the raspier tone. Anything above 3500rpm they sound the same. If you really do want that raspier tone double x pipe is the way.
