Harry seems to think that Canada will only be getting about 10 R models for 2020, and his info is usually pretty reliable

Yes, this is where I heard the "10 only for Canada" and I must have talked to the same dealership in Alberta (when I was looking for an Allocation). They had already sold their GT350R and said they would not be able to get a hold of another allocation.

Saskatoon told me they had one, but when I got back from a trip they vitto'd that and said they did not, just a GT350 and GT500s. Phoned a BC place and LOLs, they wanted 30K over, another Alberta dealer wanted 5K over... and finally, I found one willing to see at MSRP, which to me is laughable that I have to even HOPE to find the car (still) at MSRP. Again, between the thread and the dealer saying 10 cars for Canada only, I haven't seen anything else... The order sheet for 2020s (all models) showed a 2800? production amount for GT350s with "30%" being "Rs", which equates to 840 I believe. Matt: The E machines remind me of the slot cars I used to race as a kid. Fast, but BORing.

The C-64 was my first confuser, too. :-) Heck, I even had a TAPE DRIVE. <laughing>

The good ol' days...
Hah, yes, that is how I feel about DCT and E cars. The E F1 is interesting though, but a car to me needs to rumble and it needs to be manually shifted. I am not sure where the end of driver's aid vs the end of driver input is, but I think the GT350R is the pinnacle of that (for me). A car shouldn't be too "automatic", ya know? Each to their own though.

Hah, yeah C64 man. We had the Tape Drive but never seen it used, just the 5 Inch real Floppy disks :p 4x4 Off Road was a bitchin' game but our damn disk got wrecked / corrupted. \m/
