My GT350R wheel just arrived today along with my shift boot, e-brake boot and console cover from Redline Goods. Looks like I'll have a busy weekend.

I couldn't find it in the manual but is there a fuse for the airbag? I'd prefer to not have to re-teach the car, reset the clock, etc, etc..

It's been a long time now but it seems like there was a fuse when I put the Boss302 wheel in my 2011.

And if there isn't a fuse, has anyone installed the wheel without disconnecting the battery and lived to tell about it? I'm sure there is no current going to the bag to spark and I'm positive I won't be hitting anything with the car while doing the install.

What do you need to reteach besides clock and radio presets?

Well thieves steal airbags all the time without disconnecting the power. It can be done but I wouldn't want to.
There's a bit to reteach if you have an automatic the trans will relearn your driving style and fine tune shift points and firmness. You may have to pair your phone again. Not sure.

nothing is forgotten, nothing to reset. other than your radio reverts to AM instead of whatever it was on last. no presets lost, nothing at all. this isn't a PCM reset either.

The swap took me no more than 15-20 minutes tops, and I was being very careful of not scratching any of the stock bezels while swapping them.

From the owner's manual:

Because your vehicle’s engine is electronically controlled by a computer, some control conditions are maintained by power from the battery. When the battery is disconnected or a new battery is installed, the engine must relearn its idle and fuel trim strategy for optimum driveability and performance.

To restore the settings, do the following:
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Shift into park (P) or neutral (N).
3. Switch off all accessories.
4. Press the brake pedal and start your vehicle.
5. Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. While the engine is warming up, complete the following: Reset the clock. See Audio System (page 291). Reset the power windows bounce-back feature. See Windows and Mirrors (page 70). Reset the radio station presets. See Audio System (page 291).
6. Allow the engine to idle for at least one minute.
7. Drive the vehicle at least 10 mi (16 km) to completely relearn the idle trim and fuel trim strategy.

Note: If you do not allow the engine to relearn the idle and fuel trim strategy, the idle quality of your vehicle may be adversely affected until the engine computer eventually relearns the idle trim and fuel trim strategy.

sounds like a blanket statement.

my radio didn't need presets reset. It didn't need anything with the clock - it automatically adjusts. My windows also didn't need anything done.

Same here. All my presets were still set, seats, radio, A/C.

I also didn't need to reset anything but the time with my GT350 wheel install.

I got mine in! 20 minutes start to finish. This and the clutch spring were the two easiest installs I think I'll ever do!

This wheel is so money and I didn't have to reset anything but the clock
