Does anyone here use the GT350 car cover and park their car outside? I will be moving soon and likely will not have access to a garage any longer and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with using the cover outside and how well it does against rain and wind. Thanks

IMO NEVER use a car cover outside on a nice car. I will protect the rain but trap in moisture and cause rust. The worst thing will be the wind blowing cover against your finish and ruining it.

I was considering that as well, I am not sure whether it is just better to leave outside without a car cover. I will have to scope out the area maybe there is a local garage.

as long as the car is clean it's OK
Exactly. If the car is clean before you put the cover on you won't have to worry about the cover scratching the car.

The factory cover is actually made of a good material for an in between balance of indoor and outdoor use, it's gonna shed water really good with good breathability. You may want to look into getting a strictly outdoor use cover in your circumstance though, because other outdoor only covers are actually thicker and will help defend against small dings and dents as well. Here's a good chart from Covercraft that will help answer your questions...

FYI.... the factory GT350 cover is the Weathershield HD material.
