I currently have winter tires on my 18" foundries and I've been looking for 18" wheels to put my stock tires on for daily driving in summer. With shipping/tpms/mounting/balancing it will take about $1000. I really like the black PP wheels for both GT and ecoboost way more than anything I've looked at online and 19" is nice too. I can get a GT PP set for $1200 shipped from http://www.newtakeoff.com/2015_ford_mustang_gt_19_staggered_gloss_black_wheels.aspx . It seems like a better deal, but I have some concerns.

People mention that the GT PP wheels are heavy. Should this be considered? Are there negatives since it's staggered? I've also heard that the stock tires don't last long.

I actually prefer the ecoboost PP wheels to the GT PP but I can't seem to find full tire/wheel/tpms sets for less or equal than the GT PP. Also they aren't staggered so I could rotate. Any leads to some ecoboost pp sets online?

Thanks

Ours is a eb pp. I have the gt pp wheels on mine. Traded the rears for fronts so now I have a square setup. When I had the rear gt pp wheels i could tell no difference in handling, performance etc. I had no trouble selling my eb pp wheels and tires. They pop up here from time to time in the classifieds.

This is before I swapped the rears out.

The reason the Eco PP wheels/tires cost more is that they are less common that the GT PP wheels/tires. At NewTakeOff.com the Eco PP wheels only cost $138 more for all four versus the GT PP wheels tires.

I personally would prefer a rotatable setup, but I can't give up the rear grip with a supercharger, and the GT PP rears won't fit the front without a spacer.

I'm seeing on newtakeoff.com that an Eco PP set is $1600 (800x2), staggered GT PP is $1200, and square GT PP is $1340 (670x2). It's weird that they only sell Eco PP in pairs.

I think I want to go with a square setup, I just need to decide whether to go with the GT PP 19x9 or 19x9.5. Do the wider tires just sit more flush? They are priced the same, but down the road wider tires seem to cost a little more. Is there any kind of spacing/spacer issues I'll need to deal with? Any opinions?

The staggered setup is actually $140 cheaper, but I think it's worth to be able to rotate.

Any reason you went with the 9 instead of 9.5?

Theyll fit fine, theyare a tad heavy but nothing bad if comapring factory to factory.
Both 9 and 9.5 setups would work without spacers?

the staggered 9 front and 9.5 works fine, if you do a 9.5 all around you nee d a 5mm spacer upfront for additional clearance.

i'd go aftermarket.

I bought some wheels from late model resto. sve series II - 19x9/19x10 They cost $500 and weigh 100lbs total (all four - verified by me)

I then took my stock GTPP wheels - 19x9/19x9.5 and sold them for $800. They weighed 124lbs total.

Not only did I shed 24lbs of rotating mass, but I also made $300 on the deal.
