Taking delivery of my gt350 and noticed this gap..

I'm sure it's how it was designed. But why ??

The ground effect behind the front tires has a gap between the car and ground effect.

I know what you're talking about. The answer is yes, that is 100% normal. Usually those are there to pipe air away from the wheel well assuming it's a functional piece.

Yeah, that was fords best effort to bring the flared out front vendors back inline with the doors.
