Was so excited to order these Sunday when they hit the site, but now having second thoughts upon getting them. They look great 3 feet away, but up close it looks like they were buffed with really fine sand paper or wiped clean with a contaminated microfiber towel. Scratches all over the surface and even a bubble on the back pony.

Am I over reacting? The pics show the scratches but honestly it's quite worse in person. I know black shows everything but I'm having a hard time getting past the bubble in the finish.

I am happy to hear you received your emblems and I would like to help. Please shoot me a call at 561-588-6630 and we can go over what is going on. If their are any issues with them, we will send you out a replacement set no problem.

I just installed our gloss finished GT rear decklid emblem on mine last night.

To remove/install front Pony:

1) Open hood of car and remove plastic tabs that hold down radiator shroud.
2) Remove radiator shroud.
3) Reach through hole near hood latch mechanism and with your hand find the four tabs securing the OEM Pony to your grill. Snap tabs with fingertips (they break extremely easily).
4) Remove OEM Pony.
5) Expose adhesive on UPR Black Pony and line tabs on back up with the tabs on car grill.
6) Press new badge into grill firmly.
7) Reinstall radiator hood shroud and close hood.

To remove/install 5.0 badges:

1) Use hair dryer on high heat / low air flow to heat up badges and over cure adhesive.
2) Thread 1ft - 2ft of dental floss or fishing line between badges and surface of car, cutting through the adhesive
3) Remove OEM badges
4) Clean off residual adhesive with more heat and microfiber towel. GooGone works as well.
5) Expose adhesive on UPR 5.0 emblems and aline the rear mounting tabs up with holes on car fender.
6) Press new badges into fender firmly.

To remove rear GT/Pony badge:

1) Watch Russian's video and follow verbatim (video provided below)

And here are some shots of my car's exterior with the full UPR emblem package installed (still working on things):

Nice look.
Exactly what I am looking for in the emblems.
Almost bought silver instead of yellow.
If I had, our cars would have been twins.

I have the same car color than your. Did you choose the matte or gloss emblems?

Everything is matte (heat extractors, stripes, emblems, spoiler).
