Good smog stations LA area

My car will be arriving in LA in two weeks and I'll need a smog inspection for it before I can register the car. Can you guys recommend a good smog station or are they all the same?

I know a couple of great test only stations but they are both in the San Fernando Valley.

Unfortunately, none in the South Bay where you are headed. Best suggestion if no one chimes in is Yelp for 4 to 5 star reviews. Doubt you'll need anything beyond a test only facility.

Do you know if Galpin does smog testing? Or any auto dealers that do it? I have Santa Monica Ford not even a mile from my house and if they do smog testing I'll go to them.

Galpin has no smog facilities that I know of; they use a 3rd party shop for their used fleet. Out of curiosity & for sh!ts & giggles, I asked about that when my son traded in his 03 Civic last April and they told me there is no business in it. Kinda makes sense I guess, I reckon too much competition out here.

I personally have never seen or know off any dealership that do. Maybe a used car dealership but I haven't bought a used car in over 25 years.
