Background: I did a really good detail on my car last Veterans Day, doing a light correction with Chemical Guys 778, and followed up with DP paint coating.
I accidentally got some paint coating on the glass, and it would not come off even after hard scrubbing with a glass cloth, and Stoners or Rain X. It wasn't so bad as to be unable to see out of it, but there were streaks. The paint coating really held tight! If the performance of the coating on the paint is as good as it was on my glass, I'm really happy with the results.
Last night I decided to see how CG 778 worked on glass, attempting to polish off the streaks on my windshield by hand -- it worked like a charm! I will try polishing the rest of the windshield with it, and then try the paint coating deliberately on the glass -- yes, they have a formula for glass, but I don't expect it's a whole lot different. I'll follow up when I get a chance.
